Football Recap: Central Christian Puts Losing Streak Behind Them

Central Christian's game last Friday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Friday. They walked away with a 21-14 victory over the Johnson Ferry Christian Academy Saints. The win was a breath of fresh air for the Crusaders as it put an end to their five-game losing streak.

Central Christian's victory bumped their record up to 3-5. As for Johnson Ferry Christian Academy, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-5 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. After each having a week off, Central Christian and Harvester Christian Academy will shake off the rust and duke it out at 7:30 p.m. on the 24th. The Crusaders will be up against the Hawks' rather soft defense (which has allowed 33.13 points per game), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Johnson Ferry Christian Academy, they will take on Horizon Christian Academy at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. The Saints will be up against the Warriors' rather soft defense (which has allowed 42.2 points per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
