In Friday's non-league match, the visiting Central Christian Crusaders football squad scored a close 21-14 victory over the Johnson Ferry Christian Academy Saints.

The Crusaders (3-5) will now prepare for their battle against Harvester Christian Academy (Douglasville, GA). The Hawks go into the GAPPS AA Region 2 (9 Man) battle with a 5-3 record. In their last battle, Harvester Christian Academy was tipped by Unity Christian (Rome, GA), 61-22, in a non-league battle.

The Saints now own a 2-5 record. They play next when they travel to Horizon Christian Academy for a GAPPS AA Region 1 (9 Man) battle on Friday, October 17. Johnson Ferry Christian Academy will play a Warriors team coming off a 49-6 league loss to Pinecrest Academy (Cumming, GA). The Warriors record now stands at 0-5.
