Basketball Recap: St. Helena Comes Up Short

St. Helena played a tough match on Tuesday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They had to suffer through a 46-18 loss at the hands of the Cloverdale Eagles. The game marked the Saints' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

It was another big night for Amara Galvan, who posted 20 points and five boards for Cloverdale. The match was Galvan's third in a row with at least ten points. Camryn Donahoo was another key player, putting up eight points and eight rebounds.

St. Helena moved to 10-9 with that defeat, which also ended their three-game winning streak. As for Cloverdale, their win bumped their record up to 9-10.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. St. Helena will venture away from home to challenge Kelseyville at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Cloverdale, they will head out to square off against Upper Lake at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
