Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Lutheran South). They came out on top against the Fort Zumwalt North Panthers by a score of 11-6 on Wednesday. This was payback for the Lancers, who suffered an 11-1 defeat the last time these two teams met.

The win made it two in a row for Lutheran South and bumps their season record up to 5-6-1. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 8 runs in those games. As for Fort Zumwalt North, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-4.

Coming up, Lutheran South will take on Webster Groves at 8:15 p.m. on Friday. As for Fort Zumwalt North, they are taking a road trip to challenge North Point at 4:15 a.m. on Thursday.
