Softball Recap: Benson Takes a Loss

Benson managed to slip by Lincoln High the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Bunnies lost 13-2 to the Links on Monday. The Bunnies just can't catch a break and have now endured three defeats in a row.

Benson's loss dropped their record down to 7-17. As for Lincoln High, their win ended a five-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 6-12.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Benson is set to face off against their familiar foe Burke at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Lincoln High will take on rival Grand Island at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
