Softball Recap: Fairview Comes Up Short

Fairview lost against Cashion back in September of 2016, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Yellowjackets took a 7-2 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Wildcats.

Fairview's defeat dropped their record down to 2-10. As for Cashion, their victory was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 5-5.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: the Wildcats beat Fairview by a score of 5-2 later that day.
