Bonita lost to Claremont back in January of 2024, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Tuesday. The Bonita Bearcats enjoyed a cozy 49-30 win over the Claremont Wolfpack. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Bearcats.

Bonita got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Lexi Mercado out in front who almost dropped a double-double on 17 points and nine boards. Another player making a difference was Brooke Van Duyne, who posted ten points in addition to seven rebounds and three steals.

Bonita is on a roll lately: they've won 11 of their last 13 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 15-4 record this season. As for Claremont, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 11-7.

Bonita wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 44-28 win against Walnut on the 9th. As for Claremont, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 52-41 victory against Glendora on the 9th.
