Softball Recap: Weld Central Comes Up Short

After soaring to 15 runs the game before, Weld Central was a bit more limited in their match on Tuesday. They lost 13-1 to the Strasburg Indians. The contest marked the Rebels' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Weld Central saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Ally Landers, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with one run and one double.

Weld Central has also been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-8 record this season. As for Strasburg, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 11-4.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Weld Central will square off against Fort Lupton at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Strasburg, they will head out to face off against Sterling at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
