Volleyball Preview: Rockford Christian Royal Lions vs. Lutheran Crusaders
Rockford Christian is 2-7 against Lutheran since October of 2016 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. The Royal Lions are taking a road trip to take on the Crusaders at 6:30 p.m. The last three games Rockford Christian has played have been within one set, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
Rockford Christian's tournament run continued when they took on Richmond-Burton on Saturday. The Royal Lions had just enough and edged out the Rockets 2-1.
If you add up the scores from across all three sets (62-55) Rockford Christian actually scored fewer points, but in the end it didn't matter. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-23, 14-25, 16-14.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Rockford Christian to victory, but perhaps none more so than Odessa Bucciferro, who had 14 digs and three assists. Those three assists gave Bucciferro a new career-high.
