Softball Recap: Thursday's Win Is Big Pasture's Eighth in Last Ten Outings

Big Pasture's rock-solid pitcher showed up for the team's third consecutive shutout on Thursday. They never let the Grandfield Bearcats get on the board and left with a 15-0 win. The Rangers might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won nine matches by six runs or more this season.

Kyleigh Martin was incredible, going a perfect 2-for-2 with two stolen bases, three runs, and four RBI. That's the most stolen bases she has posted over her last 13 games. Another player making a difference was Natalie Martin, who got on base in all three of her plate appearances with two runs, one stolen base, and one RBI.

Big Pasture has been performing well recently as they've won eight of their last ten contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-5 record this season.

Big Pasture will challenge Cyril at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. The Pirates' pitching crew has only allowed 1.5 runs per game this season, so the Rangers' hitters will have their work cut out for them. Grandfield does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
