It's playoff time, and Irwin County had no trouble coming through when it counted. They were the clear victors by a 15-1 margin over the Bryan County Redskins on Tuesday. The victory was familiar territory for the Indians, who have now won 24 matchups in a row.

Brooklyn Gordon and Lyla Moore were major factors while hitting and pitching. On the mound, Gordon tossed three innings while giving up just one earned run off two hits. Meanwhile, Moore tossed one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits. Gordon has been consistent for a while: she hasn't given up more than two walks in 17 consecutive appearances. At bat, Gordon went 1-for-2 with two runs, one double, and one RBI, while Moore went 2-for-3 with two RBI and one double.

In other batting news, Irwin County got a massive performance out of Sailor Mixon, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with four runs, four RBI, and one double. The team also got some help courtesy of Jenna Bridges, who went 2-for-3 with four RBI, one stolen base, and one run.

Irwin County kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 17 hits. That's the most hits they've posted since back in October of 2024.

Irwin County's win bumped their record up to 26-2. As for Bryan County, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 17-15.
