Recap: Panorama Pythons vs. Sylmar Spartans
The Panorama Pythons's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their 13th straight loss. They took a serious blow against Sylmar, falling 88-15. The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Panorama in their matchups with Sylmar: they've now lost five in a row.
VALERY QUEZADA was Panorama's leading scorer, having posted four points.
NATALY MENDEZ held things down on the boards with ten rebounds.
Sylmar was led to victory by Isabella Gonzalez and Mia Ceja. Gonzalez scored 25 points, while Ceja scored 45 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Ceja has scored all season.
Panorama's defeat was their eighth straight at home, which bumped their record down to 2-15. As for Sylmar, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 11-4.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Panorama will square off against San Fernando at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Sylmar, they will head out on the road to take on Alliance Marine-Innovation & Technology at 3:00 p.m. on Monday.
