Moreau Catholic waltzed into their game on Friday with 12 straight wins... but they left with 13. They came within six points of losing the streak, but they secured a 35-29 W against the Irvington Vikings. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 66-22 back in January.

Moreau Catholic got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Ava Bowens out in front who dropped a double-double with 13 points and 11 rebounds. Bowens is also on a roll when it comes to blocks, as she's now posted two or more in each of the last four games she's played. Kaliya Kirkwood was another key player, putting up six points and 19 boards.

Moreau Catholic smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 24 offensive boards. That's the most offensive rebounds they've managed all season.

Moreau Catholic's victory was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 19-7. As for Irvington, they are on an 11-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-22.

Looking ahead, Moreau Catholic will challenge Healdsburg at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Healdsburg will roll in looking for their sixth straight win, something Moreau Catholic surely won't give up without a fight. Irvington does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
