Football Recap: Eli Ribaudo's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Eisenhower over Goddard + How To Watch

Eisenhower was the 32-21 winner over Goddard when they last played one another back in September of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Tigers took a 36-28 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Lions on Friday. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last seven times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

Eisenhower lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Eli Ribaudo, who threw for 86 yards and three TDs while completing 77.8% of his passes. Izaac Popp got in on the action as well, converting a pick into a touchdown.

Eisenhower didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Dimond Mundy and Popp. Popp got in on the action too, converting a pick into a touchdown.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Goddard to victory, but perhaps none more so than Erik Olivas, who rushed for 139 yards, and also threw for 22 yards and one touchdown. Another player making a difference was Brock Sullivan, who rushed for 64 yards and one score on only six carries.

Eisenhower's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Goddard, the victory got them back to even at 1-1.
