After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Charles Page, Durant was happy to have turned things around on Monday. They came out on top against the Del City Eagles by a score of 9-6. The victory continues a trend for the Lions in their matchups with the Eagles: they've now won four in a row.

Durant's win bumped their record up to 9-23. As for Del City, they have been struggling recently as they've lost nine of their last ten games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-19-1 record this season.

Durant has already played their next contest, a 10-1 loss against Sulphur on the 30th. As for Del City, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next matchup, a 16-4 defeat against McAlester on the 30th.
