Recap: Grant Pacers vs. Ponderosa Bruins
The Grant Pacers put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They managed a 57-53 win over Ponderosa. Given Grant's advantage in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings (they are ranked 124th, while Ponderosa is ranked 311th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Grant's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Jalaysia Clements, who dropped a double-double on 20 points and 10 rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Samaya Dillard, who dropped a double-double on 15 points and 20 rebounds.
Grant's victory bumped their record up to 5-0. As for Ponderosa, their loss dropped their record down to 3-2.
Grant is on the road again on Saturday and play against Franklin at 1:30 p.m. on December 2nd. As for Ponderosa, they will challenge Cosumnes Oaks at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
