Sonora had already won two in a row and they went ahead and made it three on Tuesday. They walked away with a 4-2 win over the Foothill Knights. Given the Raiders' advantage in MaxPreps' California soccer rankings (they are ranked 45th, while the Knights are ranked 254th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Sonora has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight contests, which provided a nice bump to their 12-2-2 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 22 goals over those eight games. As for Foothill, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-7-2.

Sonora is taking a road trip to square off against El Modena at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Sonora is facing El Modena at the right time seeing as El Modena is stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Foothill, they will look to defend their home pitch on Thursday against Brea Olinda at 6:15 p.m. Brea Olinda's last five matches have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
