Softball Recap: Depew Comes Up Short

Depew was the 4-3 winner over Woodland when they last played one another back in August of 2019, but their luck changed this time around. The Hornets took a 6-2 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Cougars on Monday. The Hornets have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Depew's defeat dropped their record down to 5-5. As for Woodland, they moved to 3-8-1 with that victory, which also ended their four-game losing streak.

Coming up, Depew will welcome Olive at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Woodland, they are taking a road trip to take on Davenport at 6:30 p.m. on Monday.
