Softball Recap: Platteview Takes a Loss

Thursday just wasn't the day for Platteview's offense. They lost 8-0 to the Wahoo Warriors on Thursday. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Warriors this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 11-1 last Saturday.

Platteview has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 16-10 record this season. As for Wahoo, with the victory, they broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 16-10.

Platteview does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Wahoo, they are taking a road trip to square off against Norris at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. The Titans' pitching crew has only allowed 3.6 runs per game this season, so the Warriors' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
