Baseball Recap: Trinity Christian Takes a Loss

Trinity Christian was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were a single run away from ending the streak, but they lost an 8-7 heartbreaker at the hands of the Thomas Jefferson Academy Jaguars. The Crusaders were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Jaguars apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in April of 2025.

Trinity Christian's loss dropped their record down to 14-9. As for Thomas Jefferson Academy, they moved to 13-9 with that win, which also ended their seven-game losing streak.

Coming up, Trinity Christian will square off against Jefferson County at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. The Warriors have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 12.57 runs per game on average), something the Crusaders will no doubt try to take advantage of. Thomas Jefferson Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
