Basketball Recap: Pierce City Comes Up Short

Pierce City suffered their biggest loss since February 12th on Saturday. They took a blow against the Sparta Trojans, falling 74-44. The Eagles have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Pierce City now has a losing record at 3-4. As for Sparta, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a nice bump to their 4-2 record this season.

Pierce City wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 65-35 win against Spokane on the 23rd. Sparta has also already played their next game, a 49-27 defeat against Walnut Grove on the 23rd.
