The Hercules Titans will venture away from home to take on the Deer Valley Wolverines at 3:30 p.m. on Friday. Hercules is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 8 runs per game this season.

Hercules is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. They were the clear victor by a 23-2 margin over Elite on Wednesday.

Nathaniel Melgoza made a splash while hitting and pitching. He tossed three innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than two hits in three consecutive appearances. He was also stellar in the batter's box, scoring four runs and stealing Three bases. while going 2-for-3. He also put up a double, which was his first of the season.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on William Hobbs, who went 3-for-4 with six RBI, two stolen bases, and three runs. That's the most runs he has posted since back in April of 2024. Another player making a difference was Jason Kao, who scored three runs and stole Three bases. while going 2-for-3.

Hercules always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .639. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.

Meanwhile, Deer Valley was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost 26-0 to Kennedy.

Hercules' record now sits at 2-4. As for Deer Valley, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-3.

Hercules couldn't quite finish off Deer Valley in their previous meeting back in April of 2016 and fell 6-4. Can Hercules avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
