Softball Recap: Parkway Central Snaps Four-Game Streak of Wins on the Road

Parkway Central came into their game on Friday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They came up short against the Howell Central Spartans, falling 11-1. The pitching woes were uncharacteristic for the Colts, who until this matchup were averaging 3.17 runs allowed.

Parkway Central's defeat ended a four-game streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 4-2.

Coincidentally, Parkway Central and Howell Central will both be playing Lutheran the next time they take the field. The Spartans will host the Cougars at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, while the Colts will play them later in the day, at 2:30 p.m.
