Aptos had won three straight home games and Berkeley Ashby did her part to make it four on Monday. The Aptos Mariners enjoyed a cozy 32-16 win over the Harbor Pirates thanks in part to Ashby, who went 7 of 17 to rack up 20 points along with eight rebounds and seven steals. That's the most steals she has posted since back in November of 2024.

Despite the loss, Harbor saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Julianne Sanguinetti scored ten points. That was a full 62.5% of Harbor's points, marking the third time in a row she's put up more than a third of the team's points.

Aptos' victory bumped their record up to 14-11. As for Harbor, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-19.

Aptos does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Harbor, they will square off against Pacific Collegiate at 5:00 p.m. on February 18th.
