Basketball Game Preview: The City School Lions vs. Masterman

The City School Lions are taking a road trip to challenge Masterman at 3:15 p.m. on Friday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Last Wednesday, The City School lost to Kimberton Waldorf at home by a 50-36 margin. The Lions have struggled against the Bulls recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive lost matchup.

Meanwhile, it's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 62-27, which was the final score in Masterman's tilt against Audenried on Wednesday. While losing is never fun, Masterman can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania basketball rankings (they are ranked 346th, while Audenried is ranked 14th).

The City School's loss dropped their record down to 4-6. As for Masterman, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 6-9.
