Recap: Lincoln Tigers vs. Legacy Tigers
After flying high against the Robert F. Kennedy Community Bobcats last Friday, the Lincoln Tigers came back down to earth. Lincoln was outmatched by Legacy at home and fell 54-25. Having soared to a lofty 60 points in the game before, Lincoln couldn't push the score so high this time.
Legacy got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Audrina Manankil out in front who scored 15 points. Alyssa Casillas was another key contributor, scoring 15 points along with 5 rebounds.
Lincoln's loss dropped their record down to 2-1. As for Legacy, their win bumped their record up to 1-4.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Lincoln will take on Huntington Park at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. Huntington Park is still on the hunt for that elusive first 'W'. As for Legacy, they will look to defend their home court on Friday against Wilson at 4:00 p.m.
