Basketball Recap: Fowler Redcats vs. Firebaugh Eagles
Fowler was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their eighth straight loss dating back to last season. They took a 42-27 bruising from the Firebaugh Eagles. The Redcats were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Eagles apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in January.
Fowler's loss dropped their record down to 0-7. As for Firebaugh, they pushed their record up to 4-1 with the win, which was their third straight on the road.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Fowler will challenge Woodlake at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Firebaugh, they will take on Farmersville at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. Firebaugh has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
