Basketball Game Preview: Greenfield Bruins vs. King City Mustangs

The Greenfield Bruins will face off against the King City Mustangs at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Greenfield is coming into the match on a five-game losing streak.

Greenfield is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They fell 53-44 to St. Francis on Friday. While losing is never fun, the Bruins can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings (they are ranked 1086th, while the Sharks are ranked 371st).

Meanwhile, King City humbled Pajaro Valley with a 56-23 victory. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Mustangs.

King City's win bumped their record up to 10-13. As for Greenfield, their loss dropped their record down to 2-12.

Greenfield lost to King City on the road by a decisive 59-43 margin in their previous meeting back in January. Can Greenfield avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
