At the plate, Jihad Guy was incredible, firing off two home runs while going 2-for-4. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in RBI (two). Another player making a difference was Jayden Mosley, who went 2-for-4 with one home run, two runs, and two RBI.

Lakeside was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .400. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Woodward Academy only posted a batting average of .240.

Woodward Academy has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 15-4 record this season. Lakeside's win bumped their record up to 14-6.
