Softball Recap: Olive Comes Up Short

Olive was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their 12th straight defeat. They came up short against the Davenport Bulldogs, falling 15-0. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Bulldogs this season, with their most recent loss being a 9-0 defeat back in August.

Olive's loss dropped their record down to 2-18. As for Davenport, they have been performing well recently as they've won 15 of their last 19 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 20-7 record this season.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Davenport beat Olive by a score of 12-0 later that day.
