Soccer Recap: Cristo Rey Comes Up Short

After soaring to seven goals the game before, Cristo Rey was a bit more limited in their matchup on Saturday. They lost 5-1 to the Grandview Heights Bobcats. If Cristo Rey were looking for revenge after losing 4-2 to Grandview Heights when the teams met back in August of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Cristo Rey's goal came courtesy of Jethro Bioh, who's now up to 17 this season.

Cristo Rey now has a losing record of 6-7. As for Grandview Heights, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-6-1.

Cristo Rey has already played their next match, a 7-2 win against Oakstone Academy on the 29th. As for Grandview Heights, they will welcome Worthington Christian at 7:15 p.m. on Wednesday. Grandview Heights will need to watch out since Worthington Christian have now posted at least four goals in their last four contests.
