Baseball Recap: Creekside's Win Ends Four-Game Losing Streak at Home

Creekside won the last time they faced Drew and things went their way on Wednesday too. Creekside put the hurt on Drew with a sharp 16-1 victory. With that win, the Seminoles brought their scoring average up to 6.3 runs per game.

Creekside got a massive performance out of TAKEEVIUS THORTON, who scored three runs and stole two bases while getting on base in all four of his plate appearances. THORTON has become a key player for Creekside: the team is 3-1 when he posts at least two stolen bases, but 0-9 otherwise. CAMERON MCCRARY was another key player, scoring two runs and stealing three bases while getting on base in all three of his plate appearances.

Creekside was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .375. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a batting average of .321 or higher in four consecutive games.

Creekside's victory ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 3-10. As for Drew, their defeat was their 16th straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 0-13.
