Baseball Recap: Walnut Grove Takes a Loss

Walnut Grove fell victim to East Forsyth and their airtight pitching crew on Tuesday. They fell just short of the Broncos by a score of 1-0. The Warriors have struggled against the Broncos recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive lost meeting.

Walnut Grove saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Sean Martell, who went 1-for-2 with one double.

Walnut Grove's loss dropped their record down to 14-8. As for East Forsyth, they moved to 14-9 with that victory, which also ended their three-game losing streak.

While Walnut Grove had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
