Football Game Preview: Therrell Panthers vs. Lovett Lions + How To Watch

Therrell hasn't had much luck against Lovett recently, but that could start to change on Friday. The Panthers will face off against the Lions at 7:30 p.m. Neither of those teams managed to put together many points in their previous contests, so the offenses might be a little more motivated than usual.

The home team had won the previous three meetings between Therrell and Washington, and Washington kept the tradition alive. The Panthers and the Bulldogs were almost perfectly matched up on Friday, but the Panthers suffered a 7-6 defeat.

Meanwhile, Lovett entered their contest against Holy Innocents Episcopal on Friday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. The Lions took a 14-7 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Golden Bears. The matchup marked the Lions' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Lovett's loss dropped their record down to 4-2. As for Therrell, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-5.

Therrell came up short against Lovett in their previous meeting back in October of 2024, falling 17-6.
