Baseball Game Preview: Paideia Pythons vs. Walker Wolverines

The Paideia Pythons will face off against the Walker Wolverines at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Paideia came up short against The Weber School on Wednesday, falling 11-1. The Pythons have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, Walker suffered their biggest defeat since May 1, 2025 on Wednesday. They lost 18-4 to King's Ridge Christian. The loss continues a trend for the Wolverines in their meetings with the Tigers: they've now lost three in a row.

Walker saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Trav Tatom, who went 2-for-3 with one stolen base and one RBI. James Whittingham was another, going 1-for-3 with one run, one double, and one RBI.

Paideia now has a losing record of 6-7. As for Walker, their defeat was their first in the region, dropping their region record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 6-5.
