Soccer Recap: Prairie City-Monroe Takes a Loss

Prairie City-Monroe was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost 4-0 to the Nevada Cubs. Prairie City-Monroe were not able to make up for their defeat to Nevada from their previous meeting back in April of 2024.

Prairie City-Monroe's loss dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Nevada, their win was their sixth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 7-2-1.

Looking ahead, Prairie City-Monroe will welcome Perry at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. This will be Prairie City-Monroe's first chance to prove their worth in the conference. As for Nevada, they will take on North Polk at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. North Polk's last six matchups have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
