After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Ola, McIntosh was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. They never let the Lovejoy Wildcats get on the board and left with a 17-0 victory. The result was nothing new for the Chiefs, who have now won five matches by 15 runs or more so far this season.

The win got McIntosh back to even at 5-5. As for Lovejoy, their loss dropped their record down to 3-3.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. McIntosh will square off against Starr's Mill at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Lovejoy, they will take on Langston Hughes at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Wildcats' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Panthers have averaged an impressive 8.9 runs per game this season.
