Basketball Recap: Jac-Cen-Del Falls to South Ripley in First Game of Season + How To Watch

Jac-Cen-Del unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-court advantage in their season opener. They had to suffer through a 75-42 loss at the hands of the South Ripley Raiders. Sadly, the defeat continues a streak the team started last season, making it eight in a row.

Jac-Cen-Del's loss shouldn't obscure the performances of Darian Grieshop, who posted 18 points and three steals, and Lane Simon, who earned ten points and six boards.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Jac-Cen-Del is packing up and heading out for their first away game of the season: they will challenge Batesville at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday. As for South Ripley, they will challenge Rising Sun at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday. This will be the Raiders' first chance to prove their worth in the conference.
