Softball Recap: Blanchard Falls Short Against Ranked Washington

Blanchard faced Washington in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Saturday. The Lions wound up with the same score they had in their last game (3-2), but sadly the team found themselves on the wrong side of the score this time. They were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Warriors apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in August of 2020.

Blanchard's defeat dropped their record down to 8-5. As for Washington, the win was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 10-1.

Blanchard has already played their next match (against Chickasha), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Washington also has no score uploaded for their next game, this one against Marlow.
