Basketball Game Preview: Cowanesque Valley Indians vs. North Penn-Liberty Mountie

The Cowanesque Valley Indians will venture away from home to face off against the North Penn-Liberty Mountie at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Cowanesque Valley's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last three matches.

Last Friday, Cowanesque Valley was able to grind out a solid win over Williamson, taking the game 56-47. The victory almost wasn't to be: the Indians were down 40-23 in the second quarter.

Meanwhile, a well-balanced attack led North Penn-Liberty over Sayre in every quarter on their way to victory on Wednesday. Given that consistent dominance, it should come as no surprise that North Penn-Liberty blew Sayre out of the water with a 43-9 final score. The Mountie have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won four contests by 25 points or more this season.

Cowanesque Valley now has a winning record of 3-2. As for North Penn-Liberty, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games, which provided a massive bump to their 5-6 record this season.
