Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Lone Tree). They put the hurt on the WACO Warriors with a sharp 22-4 win on Monday. The victory was nothing new for the Lions as they're now sitting on five straight.

Lone Tree's win was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 12-6. Those road victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.8 runs over those games. As for WACO, they are on an 11-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-11.

Looking ahead, WACO will challenge Highland at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Lone Tree will be paying especially close attention to the Warriors' contest: after the Warriors face off against Columbus, they'll take on Lone Tree again on Monday.
