Soccer Recap: Granite Hills Comes Up Short

Granite Hills lost against Murrieta Mesa back in December of 2019 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. While the 1-1 score might suggest a draw, it was the Murrieta Mesa Rams who were credited with the win. The Cougars have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Their goal came courtesy of Layla Lobato, who's now up to four this season.

Granite Hills' loss dropped their record down to 4-3. As for Murrieta Mesa, the victory got them back to even at 2-2.

Granite Hills has already played their next match, a 6-0 win against Banning on the 27th. As for Murrieta Mesa, they also wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next contest, a 2-0 defeat against Beaumont on the 27th.
