Gatewood was handed a heart-breaking two-run loss in their last match, but they sure didn't let that happen against Central Fellowship Christian Academy on Tuesday. The Gators were the clear victors by a 15-5 margin over the Lancers. Considering the Gators have won four contests by more than nine runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

The team relied heavily on Lily Arthur, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with four stolen bases, five RBI, and two runs. Another player making a difference was McKenna Riser, who went a perfect 4-for-4 with three stolen bases and three runs.

Gatewood's win bumped their record up to 4-1. As for Central Fellowship Christian Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-4.

Looking ahead, Gatewood is taking a road trip to face off against Georgia Military College at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Central Fellowship Christian Academy, they will look to defend their home field on Thursday against Stratford Academy at 5:00 p.m. The Lancers are facing the Eagles at the right time seeing as the Eagles are stuck on a four-game losing streak.
