Basketball Recap: Immanuel Christian Falls to Highland in First Game of Season

Immanuel Christian unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-court advantage in their season opener. They were beaten by the Highland Scots 53-13 on Wednesday. The Crusaders were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 27-6.

Despite the defeat, Immanuel Christian saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Chloe Loughlin posted eight points.

Immanuel Christian wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 36-22 win against Mammoth on the 20th. As for Highland, they will take on Kern Valley at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
