Softball Recap: Bishop Kelley Comes Up Short

Bishop Kelley saw some tournament action on Thursday. They came up short against the Dewey Bulldoggers, falling 11-2.

Bishop Kelley saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Ava McConville, who went 1-for-2 with one double and one RBI.

Bishop Kelley's defeat dropped their record down to 10-9. As for Dewey, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine games. That's provided a nice bump to their 22-6 record this season.

Bishop Kelley will take on Grove at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Dewey, they didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 6-3 victory against Collinsville on the 18th.
