Softball Recap: Olive Takes a Loss

Olive was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their 20th straight loss dating back to last season. They came up short against the Davenport Bulldogs, falling 15-1. The Wildcats were not able to make up for their defeat to the Bulldogs from their previous meeting back in September of 2024.

Olive's loss dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Davenport, their win bumped their record up to 4-1.

Looking ahead, Olive will head out to challenge Woodland at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Davenport, they will welcome Depew at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Bulldogs 3.2, the Hornets 2.8) so any runs scored will be well earned.
