Basketball Recap: Blue Mountain Comes Up Short

Blue Mountain was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were four points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 40-36 heartbreaker at the hands of the Pottsville Crimson Tide. The Eagles were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Crimson Tide apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in February of 2024.

Blue Mountain's defeat dropped their record down to 1-6. As for Pottsville, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 3-4.

Blue Mountain wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 52-49 win against Schuylkill Haven on the 16th. Pottsville has also already played their next game (against Tamaqua), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
