Soccer Game Preview: Dublin vs. Carondelet

Dublin is 0-8-2 against Carondelet since December of 2015 but things could change on Thursday. The Gaels will host the Cougars at 6:30 p.m.

Tuesday just wasn't the day for Dublin's offense. They fell just short of Foothill by a score of 1-0 on Tuesday.

Meanwhile, after low-scoring totals in their previous four match, Carondelet brought some dynamite into their most recent contest. Their defense stepped up to hand Dougherty Valley a 7-0 shutout on Tuesday. With that victory, Carondelet brought their scoring average up to 2.7 goals per game.

Their offense was hitting Dougherty Valley from everywhere, as five different players booted in a goal. Elle Sloan led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for two goals all by herself.

Dublin's loss dropped their record down to 3-5-1. As for Carondelet, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups. That lines up perfectly with their 6-1-3 record this season.
