Soccer Recap: Dooly County's Undefeated Season over After 12 Games

After some red-hot attacks on offense in their last six contests, Dooly County finally came back down to earth on Friday. They came up short against the Georgia Military College Bulldogs, falling 9-1. While losing is never fun, Dooly County can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Georgia soccer rankings (they are ranked 203rd, while Georgia Military College are ranked 94th).

Dooly County's goal came courtesy of Jesus Vega, who's now up to 28 this season.

Having lost for the first time this season, Dooly County fell to 11-1. As for Georgia Military College, their win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 7-1.

Dooly County didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next game, a 4-3 defeat against Cook on the 18th. As for Georgia Military College, they have also already played their next match, a 1-1 victory against Lake Oconee Academy on the 18th.
