Basketball Recap: Wissahickon Comes Up Short

Wissahickon was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They were four points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 33-29 heartbreaker at the hands of the Hatboro-Horsham Hatters. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Trojans this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 35-25 on January 7th.

Wissahickon's defeat dropped their record down to 2-12. As for Hatboro-Horsham, they moved to 2-10 with that win, which also ended their four-game losing streak.

Wissahickon and Hatboro-Horsham could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps Pennsylvania Rankings. Wissahickon will face off against Abington at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday down 379 places (531 vs. 152). Similarly, Hatboro-Horsham (ranked 562nd) will meet Plymouth Whitemarsh (ranked 119th) at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
